Fruit Cake Recipe |
Fruit Cake Ingredients:- 1 package Betty Crocker date bar mix
- 2/3 cup hot water
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powered
- 2 tablespoons light molasses
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup red/green candied cherries
|  Time: 1 hour 30 min Serves: 12

Fruit Cake Instructions:Heat oven to 325 F. Grease & flour 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. Combine date bar mix and water until crumbly. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, molasses & spices. Fold in nuts & cherries; pour into pan. Bake 80 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Fruit Cake Cooking Time:- Cooking time 80 - 85 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
- Store in an airtight container.

Fruit Cake Serving Instructions:- Serve with Whipped Cream, Ice Cream.
- Great for Xmas parties.
