 Mississippi Mud Cake Recipe

Mississippi Mud Cake Ingredients:
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • Half cup milk
  • Half cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 small package miniature marshmallows

Mississippi Mud Cake
Time: 1 hour
15 min
Serves: 8

Mississippi Mud Cake Instructions:

  • Melt margarine; add cocoa with beaten eggs, flour and milk. Add salt and sugar. Beat well, then add nuts and beat more. Pour in greased pan 13*9*2 inches. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F. Pour marshmallows over cake while still hot. Put cake in warm oven until marshmallows melt.

Mississippi Mud Cake Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 30 - 35 minutes.
  • Leave to cool before serving.
  • Store in an airtight cake tin.
Mississippi Mud Cake Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Tea or Coffee.
  • Great for a Holiday Parties.
  • Serve with Whipped Cream.
