Raisin Pudding Cake Ingredients:- Pudding:
- 2 cup boiling water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cake:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk

Raisin Pudding Cake Instructions:Combine boiling water, brown sugar, raisins and 1 T. butter, simmer for 15 minutes. Add vanilla and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, cream together 1 T. butter and white sugar. Add remaining dry ingredients alternating with the milk. Pour cake batter into a 9x13-inch baking pan and gently pour pudding mixture on top, making sure your raisins are distributed evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.

Raisin Pudding Cake Cooking Time:- Cooking time 30 - 40 minutes.
- Leave to cool before serving.
- Store in an airtight cake tin.
