| Cherry Cream Bars Recipe | Cherry Cream Bars Ingredients:- 6 tablespoons cold butter, cut in pieces
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 200g - 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup candied red cherries, cut into quarters
- 1/2 cup candied green cherries, cut into quarters

| Cherry Cream Bars Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8 inch square baking pan with foil, leaving an overhang on all sides. In small bowl of electric mixer, place butter, brown sugar and flour. Mix at low speed until crumbs have formed. Set aside 1/3 cup crumb mixture. Press remainder into prepared pan and bake 10 minutes. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg and lemon juice until smooth. Stir in cherries and pour over crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake 20 minutes or until filling still shakes slightly only in center then cool and chill. To serve, lift from pan using foil, and cut into 24 bars.
