 English Toffee Recipe

English Toffee Ingredients:
  • 1 cu  Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/3 cup  Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon  Light Corn Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons  Water
  • 1 lb Bittersweet Chocolate
  • 1 lb Ground Pecans

English Toffee
Time: 1 hour
Serves: 8

English Toffee Instructions:

  • Melt butter and sugar.
    Add corn syrup and water to it.
    Boil over high heat to 300 °F.
    Pour on to greased cookie sheet.
    Break into pieces and dip in melted chocolate.
    Cover with ground pecans    .

English Toffee Cooking Time:
  • Please see above.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container.
English Toffee Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Tea or Coffee.
  • Great at Xmas Parties.
