 Peppermint Crunches Recipe

Peppermint Crunches Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped peppermint candy
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Peppermint Crunches
Time: 2 hour
Qty: 24

Peppermint Crunches Instructions:

  • Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with wax paper; set aside.
    Combine evaporated milk, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
    Add chocolate chips; stir until melted. Cool for 10 minutes.
    Stir in nuts, candy and extract. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet. Let stand until firm.
