 Southern Praline Candy Recipe

Southern Praline Candy Ingredients:
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cup pecans

Southern Praline Candy Instructions:

  • Combine sugar, milk, corn syrup, margarine, and soda in a saucepan. Place over moderate heat, stirring gently until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage, 238 degrees on candy thermometer, and remove from heat. Add vanilla, and beat until creamy; stir in pecans. Drop from spoon onto waxed paper.
