 Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup crunchy-style peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-6 oz package chocolate chips

Time: 1 hour
Serves: 6

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat throughly peanut butter, shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop batter 2 inches apart onto baking stone. Bake 10-15 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from baking stone..

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container.
