 Sour Cream Sugar Cookies Recipe

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Time: 1 hour
Cookies: 24

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add egg, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and roll out desired thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake about 14 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let cool. Do not grease cookie sheets!
