 Russian Tea Cookies Recipe

Russian Tea Cookies Ingredients:
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • powdered sugar for garnishing

Time: 1 hour

Russian Tea Cookies Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    In a large bowl combine first four ingredients. Mix using an electric mixer for about 1 minute, blending well. Gradually add flour at low speed until just
    combined; stir in nuts. Roll dough into 1 inch balls; place about 1-2 inches
    apart on an un greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes until
    firm to the touch but not brown. Do not over bake. While warm, roll in
    powdered sugar.

Russian Tea Cookies Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 8 - 10 minutes.
  • leave to cool before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container.

  • Serve with Tea or Coffee.
