 Fudge Recipe

Fudge Ingredients:
  • 300ml - 1/2pint Milk
  • 800g / 32oz 12oz Granulated Sugar
  • 100g / 4oz Butter
  • 2 tsps.(teaspoons) Vanilla Essence

Fudge
Time:1hr
Pieces: 50

Fudge Instructions:
  • Pour milk into a pan and bring to the boil.
  • Add the sugar and butter.
  • Stir all the time while heating slow till the sugar. dissolves and the butter melts.
  • Bring to the boil then cover with lid for 2 minutes.
  • Remove lid and continue to boil steadily, occasionally stirring for a further  12 to 14 minutes.
  • Remove for the heat and stir in the  vanilla essence. Now leave mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Beat the Fudge until it starts to loss it shine and becomes thick and creamy.
  • Transfer to a buttered 18cm / 7in square tin.
  • Mark into squares when cool. When firm and set cut into squares with a sharp knife.
Fudge Cooking Time:
  • Set time may vary.
  • leave to cool before serving.
Fudge Serving Instructions:
  • Store in a air tight upright tin to keep fresh.
