Pumpkin Pie Recipe |
Pumpkin Pie Ingredients:- 1 pastry recipe for 9 inch pie crust
- 2 cups (480ml) milk, scalded
- 2 cups (450g) pumpkin, cooked and strained (or plain canned pumpkin)
- 1 cup (240ml) maple syrup
- 1/8 cup (30g) sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
|  Time:1hr 30m Serves: 8

Pumpkin Pie Instructions:- Heat the oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C
- Line pie tin with pastry
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into pastry case
- Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and put on a wire rack and leave to cool.

Pumpkin Pie Cooking Time:- Cooking time 1 hour.
- Leave to cool before serving.

Pumpkin Pie Serving Instructions:- Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
- Can be served Hot or Cold
