 Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Chocolate Pudding Ingredients:
  • 125g / 5oz self raising Flour
  • 75g / 3oz Butter
  • 15g / ½oz Corn-flour
  • 15g / ½oz Cocoa powder
  • 75g / 3oz Caster sugar
  • 1 large beaten Egg
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 6 tablespoons of cold milk for mixing

Chocolate Pudding
Time: 2 hours
Serves: 4

Chocolate Pudding Instructions:
  • Mix flour, corn-flour, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl and rub butter in finely.
  • Add sugar and stir to a soft consistency with egg and milk.
  • Mix fast until well combined then pour into a 1 litre or 2 pint buttered pudding basin.
  • Now cover with greaseproof paper or aluminium foil.
  • Steam slowly for about 1 hour 30min to 2 hours or until the pudding has well risen.
Chocolate Pudding Cooking Time:
  • 2 hours
  • Cool slightly before serving.
Chocolate Pudding Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Whipped Cream.
