 Rhubarb Crisp Recipe

Rhubarb Crisp Ingredients:
  • 6 cups rhubarb, dice
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

    Topping:
  • 1/2 flour
  • 1 cup quick oat meal
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Rhubarb Crisp
Time: 1 hour
Serves: 8

Rhubarb Crisp Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine rhubarb, brown sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon.
  • Spoon into a buttered medium casserole dish.
  • Mix the topping ingredients and a bowl. Sprinkle evenly over rhubarb mixture.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Test center to make sure rhubarb is cooked.
Rhubarb Crisp Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 30 - 40 minutes.
  • Leave to cool before serving.
Rhubarb Crisp Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Whipped Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
  • Can be served Hot or Cold
