 Chocolate Lime Recipe

Chocolate Lime Ingredients:
  • 1 package (3 ounces) lime gelatin
  • 1 3/4 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups crushed chocolate wafers
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

Chocolate Lime
Time: 2 hour
Serves: 12 - 15

Chocolate Lime Instructions:
  • In a bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in boiling water.
  • Place in the refrigerate for about 1-1/2 hours.
  • Mix wafer crumbs and butter in a bowl then press into a 13-inch x 9-inch x 2-inch dish and put to one side.
  • Mix gelatin with an electric mixer until foamy.
  • Gradually add sugar, mix well until dissolved.
  • Slowly add the milk and stir in well.
  • Pour over prepared crust then Refrigerate until set.
Chocolate Lime Cooking Time:
  • Refrigerate until set.
Chocolate Lime Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
