 Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey Recipe

Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey Ingredients:
  • 6 lbs turkey breast (whole)
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 3/4 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary - chopped
  • black pepper to taste

    Glaze:
  • 3/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey
Time: 3 hour

Serves: 4

Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey Instructions:

  • Place turkey in large bowl or ziplock bag.

    Stir together marinade ingredients and pour over turkey. Marinate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight in refrigerator. Remove turkey from marinade and grill, about 12 minutes per pound. stir together glaze ingredients in bowl. Brush glaze onto turkey after about 40 minutes on grill, and again when turkey is removed. Slice and serve on a platter.

Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 70 - 75 minutes.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
Grilled Honey Bourbon Turkey Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with your choice of vegetables.
  • Great for a Holiday Meal.
